Why Consider the San Diego Stainless Steel Range Hood for Your Kitchen?

The San Diego Stainless Steel Range Hood starts with clean-lined profile with a light, contemporary feel, then gives you control over the dimensions, finish, accents and ventilation for your space. You do not have to make the finish decision from a screen. Bloom offers free sample tiles, one-on-one help from a master designer, the confidence of ordering securely from a U.S.-based company and free shipping within the 48 continental U.S. states.

The San Diego Stainless Steel Range Hood: Clean-Lined Profile with a Light, Contemporary Feel with a Custom Fit

The San Diego Stainless Steel Range Hood uses clean-lined profile with a light, contemporary feel to create a clear focal point without forcing the rest of the room to follow a preset formula. Built from 16-gauge 304 stainless steel construction, this stainless steel kitchen hood can be adjusted around the range, cabinetry and ceiling height, then finished to suit the surrounding palette.

  • Model-Specific Shape: The San Diego gets a look separate from Bloom’s other hood profiles through clean-lined profile with a light, contemporary feel.
  • Made-to-Order Proportions: Choose width, depth and height around the range, cabinetry and ceiling conditions in your kitchen.
  • Material You Can Build Around: 16-gauge 304 stainless steel gives the hood a durable body with a crisp, clean metal look.
  • Ventilation Choices: Select an exhaust setup based on your range, room layout and cooking habits.
  • Lifetime Structural Guarantee: Bloom backs the hood structure with lifetime coverage.

Custom Range Hood Sizing with Airflow to Match, For a Better-Fit Kitchen

Bloom builds the San Diego around your measurements rather than a short list of stock sizes. Width, depth, height, mounting style and ventilation can all be considered as part of the same design, helping the finished hood feel balanced over the range.

  • Precision TIG-Welded Construction: Controlled welds create a clean, durable hood body.
  • Custom Dimensions: Set the width, depth and height around your kitchen plan.
  • Mounting Options: Choose a mounting approach compatible with the room and cabinetry.
  • Ventilation Selection: Match the exhaust system to the range and how you cook.
  • Finish Protection: Available protective finishes help simplify routine care.

Stainless Steel Range Hood Colors and Textures, Your Way

This is where the San Diego gets personal. Choose from Bloom’s available stainless steel finish and texture options and decide how much contrast you want between the main body and decorative details. Free sample tiles let you compare options beside the actual materials in your kitchen before making the final call.

Want the San Diego to blend in? Keep the finish and accents close in tone. Want it to own the room? Push the contrast and let the profile do more of the talking.

A Stainless Steel Range Hood Built to Play Well with More Than One Style

The San Diego does not have to live in one design category. Its clean-lined profile with a light, contemporary feel can feel more traditional with layered finishes and decorative accents, or more current when the palette stays restrained and the surrounding lines stay clean.

The finish gets attention, but proportion is what makes the hood belong. Made-to-order sizing lets the San Diego relate to the room instead of forcing the room to accommodate a preset shell.

Bring Your San Diego Stainless Steel Hood Idea to bloom

The best version of the San Diego Stainless Steel Range Hood is the one built for your kitchen. Work one-on-one with bloom range hoods’ master designer to refine the proportions, finish package and performance choices before the hood moves forward.

A custom kitchen deserves more than a close-enough hood. Build the San Diego Stainless Steel Range Hood around the space and give the cooking wall a focal point with a reason to be there.

Ventilation Systems

Find Your Perfect Exhaust System

We believe the ventilation system behind your beautiful hood should work as hard as it looks good. Here's how to find your perfect match:

Motor Fan In-Hood Exhaust System

The culinary equivalent of having everything you need right at your fingertips.

  • Motor(s) nestled inside your copper hood
  • Complete with lights, switches, and stainless steel baffle filters
  • 304-grade stainless steel liner (the gold standard of kitchen durability)
  • Powered by 120 volts 60hz, like a well-oiled kitchen machine
  • Features reusable stainless steel baffle filters (we believe in sustainability almost as much as style)
  • Motor(s) run at approximately 7 sones - the soundtrack to your cooking adventure

Motor Fan In-Attic Exhaust System

For when you want all the power without stealing the spotlight. This method is preferred but requires accessible attic space directly above the kitchen.

  • Motor tucked discreetly in your attic, like a kitchen ninja
  • Still equipped with all the essentials: lights, switches, and stainless steel baffle filters
  • Premium 304 grade stainless steel liner at 120 volts 60hz
  • Reusable stainless steel filters for easy maintenance
  • Virtually silent operation in your kitchen - quieter than a Wisconsin lake at dawn
  • Perfect for open-concept kitchens where conversation flows as freely as your creativity

Liner Only (No Motor)

For the kitchen maestros who march to their own beat.

  • Requires purchasing a separate External Blower System
  • Motor(s) positioned outside your structure
  • Includes the essentials: lights, switches, and stainless steel baffle filters
  • Premium 304 grade stainless steel liner at 120 volts 60hz
  • Equipped with reusable stainless steel filters
  • Ideal for unique installations or specific ventilation requirements

Recirculating Systems

When your kitchen's layout plays hard to get with outside venting options.

  • Perfect solution when venting to the outside isn't in the cards
  • Equipped with specialized charcoal filters to trap cooking odors and grease
  • Limited to 390 CFM and up to 48" in width (even heroes have their boundaries)
  • Features clever louvers built into the hood for air to escape back into your kitchen
  • Ideal for apartments, condos, or older homes where structural limitations make external venting challenging
  • All the style with a practical twist for challenging spaces

How To Measure Infograph

Your Copper Hood

How To Measure

Watch our video tutorial for help selecting the proper dimensions for your copper hood. You'll need to measure the width of your cooktop and the height of your ceiling from the kitchen floor. Wall-mounted hoods can be as wide as your cooktop; however, island mounted hoods should be at least 6 inches wider than the cooktop. The bottom of the hood should be between 30-36" above your cooktop. Once the dimensions of the hood are determined, you can then select a ventilation system. We offer in-hood and in-attic ventilation systems. Once you select a ventilation system that will work for your kitchen space, you can then choose the color and texture of the copper hood. Don't forget to personalize your hood with custom straps, rivets and apron patterns.
