How Does the Parisian Brass Range Hood Fit a Custom Kitchen?

The Parisian Brass Range Hood combines graceful lines and refined French-inspired detailing with made-to-order dimensions and ventilation selected around the way your kitchen works. The buying process stays personal too: free sample tiles for finish decisions, direct access to bloom range hoods’ master designer, the confidence of ordering securely from a U.S.-based company and free shipping to the 48 continental U.S. states.

The Parisian Brass Range Hood: A Custom Hood with Its Own Point of View

The Parisian Brass Range Hood uses graceful lines and refined French-inspired detailing to create a clear focal point without forcing the rest of the room to follow a preset formula. Built from 16-gauge brass construction, this brass kitchen hood can be adjusted around the range, cabinetry and ceiling height, then finished to suit the surrounding palette.

  • Distinctive Parisian Design: Graceful lines and refined French-inspired detailing sets the tone for the finished hood.
  • Custom Width, Depth and Height: Build the proportions around your kitchen rather than adjusting the kitchen around a stock hood.
  • Heavy-Gauge Construction: 16-gauge brass gives the hood a substantial body with warm metallic depth.
  • Configurable Exhaust System: Choose ventilation with your range size, cooking style and room layout in mind.
  • Lifetime Structural Guarantee: Structural coverage stays with the hood for life.

Dial in the Fit and Ventilation for the Parisian Brass Hood

Start with the room: range width, cabinet spacing, ceiling height and the amount of cooking you do. Those choices guide the proportions and ventilation for the Parisian. TIG-welded construction gives the finished hood a clean, durable structure built for everyday use.

  • Precision TIG-Welded Construction: Controlled welds create a clean, durable hood body.
  • Custom Dimensions: Set the width, depth and height around your kitchen plan.
  • Mounting Options: Choose a mounting approach compatible with the room and cabinetry.
  • Ventilation Selection: Match the exhaust system to the range and how you cook.
  • Finish Protection: Available protective finishes help simplify routine care.

Custom Range Hood Colors, Textures and Details to Play With — For Everyday Cooking

This is where the Parisian gets personal. Choose from Bloom’s available brass colors and textures and decide how much contrast you want between the main body and decorative details. Free sample tiles let you compare options beside the actual materials in your kitchen before making the final call.

There is no single “correct” combination for the Parisian. The goal is enough personality for the room without making every nearby finish compete for attention.

Parisian Brass Hood Style, from Classic to Clean-Lined

Use the Parisian as either a strong focal point or a quieter architectural element. The graceful lines and refined French-inspired detailing already gives it shape; finish tone, texture and accents determine how loudly the hood speaks in the room.

The finish gets attention, but proportion is what makes the hood belong. Made-to-order sizing lets the Parisian relate to the room instead of forcing the room to accommodate a preset shell.

Design Your Custom Range Hood One-On-One with bloom — With a Little More Personality

Start with the Parisian profile, then make the rest personal. Bloom’s master designer works directly with you to dial in dimensions, material details, finish and ventilation for the room.

The goal for the Parisian Brass Range Hood is simple: the right fit, the right amount of personality and ventilation chosen for how you actually cook.

Ventilation Systems

Find Your Perfect Exhaust System

We believe the ventilation system behind your beautiful hood should work as hard as it looks good. Here's how to find your perfect match:

Motor Fan In-Hood Exhaust System

The culinary equivalent of having everything you need right at your fingertips.

  • Motor(s) nestled inside your copper hood
  • Complete with lights, switches, and stainless steel baffle filters
  • 304-grade stainless steel liner (the gold standard of kitchen durability)
  • Powered by 120 volts 60hz, like a well-oiled kitchen machine
  • Features reusable stainless steel baffle filters (we believe in sustainability almost as much as style)
  • Motor(s) run at approximately 7 sones - the soundtrack to your cooking adventure

Motor Fan In-Attic Exhaust System

For when you want all the power without stealing the spotlight. This method is preferred but requires accessible attic space directly above the kitchen.

  • Motor tucked discreetly in your attic, like a kitchen ninja
  • Still equipped with all the essentials: lights, switches, and stainless steel baffle filters
  • Premium 304 grade stainless steel liner at 120 volts 60hz
  • Reusable stainless steel filters for easy maintenance
  • Virtually silent operation in your kitchen - quieter than a Wisconsin lake at dawn
  • Perfect for open-concept kitchens where conversation flows as freely as your creativity

Liner Only (No Motor)

For the kitchen maestros who march to their own beat.

  • Requires purchasing a separate External Blower System
  • Motor(s) positioned outside your structure
  • Includes the essentials: lights, switches, and stainless steel baffle filters
  • Premium 304 grade stainless steel liner at 120 volts 60hz
  • Equipped with reusable stainless steel filters
  • Ideal for unique installations or specific ventilation requirements

Recirculating Systems

When your kitchen's layout plays hard to get with outside venting options.

  • Perfect solution when venting to the outside isn't in the cards
  • Equipped with specialized charcoal filters to trap cooking odors and grease
  • Limited to 390 CFM and up to 48" in width (even heroes have their boundaries)
  • Features clever louvers built into the hood for air to escape back into your kitchen
  • Ideal for apartments, condos, or older homes where structural limitations make external venting challenging
  • All the style with a practical twist for challenging spaces

How To Measure Infograph

Your Copper Hood

How To Measure

Watch our video tutorial for help selecting the proper dimensions for your copper hood. You'll need to measure the width of your cooktop and the height of your ceiling from the kitchen floor. Wall-mounted hoods can be as wide as your cooktop; however, island mounted hoods should be at least 6 inches wider than the cooktop. The bottom of the hood should be between 30-36" above your cooktop. Once the dimensions of the hood are determined, you can then select a ventilation system. We offer in-hood and in-attic ventilation systems. Once you select a ventilation system that will work for your kitchen space, you can then choose the color and texture of the copper hood. Don't forget to personalize your hood with custom straps, rivets and apron patterns.
