What Should You Know Before Choosing the London Custom Range Hood?

The appeal of the London Custom Range Hood begins with elegant curved silhouette with classic crown and apron molding, but the real advantage is how much of the hood you can shape around your kitchen. Order free sample tiles to compare finishes in your own lighting, then work one-on-one with bloom range hoods’ master designer on the final direction. Bloom also offers the confidence of ordering securely from a U.S.-based company and free shipping to the 48 continental U.S. states.

The London Custom Range Hood: Model-Specific Style with Made-to-Order Details

At first glance, the London Custom Range Hood is all about elegant curved silhouette with classic crown and apron molding. Look closer and the practical side matters just as much: 16-gauge copper, brass or 304 stainless steel construction, made-to-order dimensions and configurable ventilation turn the design into a working part of the kitchen.

  • A Profile with Personality: The London gets its visual character from elegant curved silhouette with classic crown and apron molding, not from a generic stock shell.
  • Sized for the Space: Adjust the key dimensions so the hood relates cleanly to the range and surrounding cabinetry.
  • Built from Substantial Metal: Choose 16-gauge copper, brass or 304 stainless steel to set the material direction for the hood.
  • Airflow for the Way You Cook: Pair the hood with a ventilation option suited to your cooking setup.
  • Long-Term Structural Coverage: Every hood includes bloom range hoods’ lifetime structural guarantee.

Dial in the Fit and Airflow for Your Custom Range Hood

A custom hood should look intentional from every angle. Bloom sizes the London around the range, cabinetry and ceiling conditions, then matches the ventilation options to your cooking setup. Precision TIG-welded construction keeps the body strong and the seams clean without adding visual clutter.

  • Clean Welded Structure: TIG welding brings strength to the body without bulky seams.
  • Room-Specific Sizing: Build the hood around the actual space above your range.
  • Installation Flexibility: Select the appropriate mounting configuration for the design.
  • Cooking-Focused Airflow: Choose ventilation with everyday cooking needs in mind.
  • Easy-Care Surface Options: Protective finish choices help keep maintenance straightforward.

Finish Your Custom Range Hood Your Way

The same London can read completely differently depending on the finish. A softer surface treatment keeps the profile restrained, while deeper tones or stronger texture bring more attention to the shape. Use the accent selections to tie the hood back to cabinetry, lighting and fixtures.

Cabinet color, counters, hardware and lighting all change how the London finish reads. Looking at samples in the actual space can save a lot of second-guessing.

Custom Range Hood Style, from Quiet to Statement-Making

Because the design centers on elegant curved silhouette with classic crown and apron molding, the London can take on a different mood depending on the materials around it. Pair it with warmer finishes and more decorative details for a traditional direction, or simplify the accents for a cleaner transitional look.

Custom dimensions give the London another design lever. Taller, wider or more compact proportions can change the visual weight before the finish even enters the conversation.

Build Your London Custom Range Hood with a Master Designer

The best version of the London Custom Range Hood is the one built for your kitchen. Work one-on-one with bloom range hoods’ master designer to refine the proportions, finish package and performance choices before the hood moves forward.

Go quiet with the details on the London, or make it the first thing people notice. Either way, the finished piece is customized to order around your range, cabinetry and style.

Ventilation Systems

Find Your Perfect Exhaust System

We believe the ventilation system behind your beautiful hood should work as hard as it looks good. Here's how to find your perfect match:

Motor Fan In-Hood Exhaust System

The culinary equivalent of having everything you need right at your fingertips.

  • Motor(s) nestled inside your copper hood
  • Complete with lights, switches, and stainless steel baffle filters
  • 304-grade stainless steel liner (the gold standard of kitchen durability)
  • Powered by 120 volts 60hz, like a well-oiled kitchen machine
  • Features reusable stainless steel baffle filters (we believe in sustainability almost as much as style)
  • Motor(s) run at approximately 7 sones - the soundtrack to your cooking adventure

Motor Fan In-Attic Exhaust System

For when you want all the power without stealing the spotlight. This method is preferred but requires accessible attic space directly above the kitchen.

  • Motor tucked discreetly in your attic, like a kitchen ninja
  • Still equipped with all the essentials: lights, switches, and stainless steel baffle filters
  • Premium 304 grade stainless steel liner at 120 volts 60hz
  • Reusable stainless steel filters for easy maintenance
  • Virtually silent operation in your kitchen - quieter than a Wisconsin lake at dawn
  • Perfect for open-concept kitchens where conversation flows as freely as your creativity

Liner Only (No Motor)

For the kitchen maestros who march to their own beat.

  • Requires purchasing a separate External Blower System
  • Motor(s) positioned outside your structure
  • Includes the essentials: lights, switches, and stainless steel baffle filters
  • Premium 304 grade stainless steel liner at 120 volts 60hz
  • Equipped with reusable stainless steel filters
  • Ideal for unique installations or specific ventilation requirements

Recirculating Systems

When your kitchen's layout plays hard to get with outside venting options.

  • Perfect solution when venting to the outside isn't in the cards
  • Equipped with specialized charcoal filters to trap cooking odors and grease
  • Limited to 390 CFM and up to 48" in width (even heroes have their boundaries)
  • Features clever louvers built into the hood for air to escape back into your kitchen
  • Ideal for apartments, condos, or older homes where structural limitations make external venting challenging
  • All the style with a practical twist for challenging spaces

How To Measure Infograph

Your Copper Hood

How To Measure

Watch our video tutorial for help selecting the proper dimensions for your copper hood. You'll need to measure the width of your cooktop and the height of your ceiling from the kitchen floor. Wall-mounted hoods can be as wide as your cooktop; however, island mounted hoods should be at least 6 inches wider than the cooktop. The bottom of the hood should be between 30-36" above your cooktop. Once the dimensions of the hood are determined, you can then select a ventilation system. We offer in-hood and in-attic ventilation systems. Once you select a ventilation system that will work for your kitchen space, you can then choose the color and texture of the copper hood. Don't forget to personalize your hood with custom straps, rivets and apron patterns.
