What Sets the Duluth Brass Range Hood Apart from Stock Range Hoods?

The appeal of the Duluth Brass Range Hood begins with robust farmhouse profile with a square crown, but the real advantage is how much of the hood you can shape around your kitchen. Order free sample tiles to compare finishes in your own lighting, then work one-on-one with bloom range hoods’ master designer on the final direction. Bloom also offers secure online ordering with a U.S.-based company and free shipping to the 48 continental U.S. states.

The Duluth Brass Range Hood: Strong Form, Flexible Customization

At first glance, the Duluth Brass Range Hood is all about robust farmhouse profile with a square crown. Look closer and the practical side matters just as much: 16-gauge brass construction, made-to-order dimensions and configurable ventilation turn the design into a working part of the kitchen.

  • Model-Specific Shape: The Duluth gets a look separate from Bloom’s other hood profiles through robust farmhouse profile with a square crown.
  • Made-to-Order Proportions: Choose width, depth and height around the range, cabinetry and ceiling conditions in your kitchen.
  • Material You Can Build Around: 16-gauge brass gives the hood a substantial body with warm metallic depth.
  • Ventilation Choices: Select an exhaust setup based on your range, room layout and cooking habits.
  • Lifetime Structural Guarantee: Bloom backs the hood structure with lifetime coverage.

Size Your Brass Range Hood Around the Way You Cook — For Everyday Cooking

A custom hood should look intentional from every angle. Bloom sizes the Duluth around the range, cabinetry and ceiling conditions, then matches the ventilation options to your cooking setup. Precision TIG-welded construction keeps the body strong and the seams clean without adding visual clutter.

  • Precision TIG-Welded Construction: Controlled welds create a clean, durable hood body.
  • Custom Dimensions: Set the width, depth and height around your kitchen plan.
  • Mounting Options: Choose a mounting approach compatible with the room and cabinetry.
  • Ventilation Selection: Match the exhaust system to the range and how you cook.
  • Finish Protection: Available protective finishes help simplify routine care.

Custom Brass Range Hood Textures with Plenty of Range, With a Little More Personality

Think of the finish as part of the architecture, not an afterthought. The Duluth can lean warm, crisp, understated or bold depending on the selected brass colors and textures. Coordinate the accents or break them apart for more contrast.

There is no single “correct” combination for the Duluth. The goal is enough personality for the room without making every nearby finish compete for attention.

Duluth Brass Hood Style, from Classic to Clean-Lined

Kitchen style often comes down to how the details are handled. On the Duluth, robust farmhouse profile with a square crown provides the base. Warmer finishes can lean classic, while simple accents and a tighter palette can move the same profile in a more modern direction.

If the rest of the kitchen already has plenty going on, keep the Duluth restrained. If the cooking wall needs a focal point, use the finish and accents to give it more presence.

Make Your Custom Kitchen Hood Yours with bloom — For a Better-Fit Kitchen

Start with the Duluth profile, then make the rest personal. Bloom’s master designer works directly with you to dial in dimensions, material details, finish and ventilation for the room.

You pick how bold the Duluth Brass Range Hood becomes. Bloom helps turn those choices into a made-to-order piece built around the range and the rest of the room.

Ventilation Systems

Find Your Perfect Exhaust System

We believe the ventilation system behind your beautiful hood should work as hard as it looks good. Here's how to find your perfect match:

Motor Fan In-Hood Exhaust System

The culinary equivalent of having everything you need right at your fingertips.

  • Motor(s) nestled inside your copper hood
  • Complete with lights, switches, and stainless steel baffle filters
  • 304-grade stainless steel liner (the gold standard of kitchen durability)
  • Powered by 120 volts 60hz, like a well-oiled kitchen machine
  • Features reusable stainless steel baffle filters (we believe in sustainability almost as much as style)
  • Motor(s) run at approximately 7 sones - the soundtrack to your cooking adventure

Motor Fan In-Attic Exhaust System

For when you want all the power without stealing the spotlight. This method is preferred but requires accessible attic space directly above the kitchen.

  • Motor tucked discreetly in your attic, like a kitchen ninja
  • Still equipped with all the essentials: lights, switches, and stainless steel baffle filters
  • Premium 304 grade stainless steel liner at 120 volts 60hz
  • Reusable stainless steel filters for easy maintenance
  • Virtually silent operation in your kitchen - quieter than a Wisconsin lake at dawn
  • Perfect for open-concept kitchens where conversation flows as freely as your creativity

Liner Only (No Motor)

For the kitchen maestros who march to their own beat.

  • Requires purchasing a separate External Blower System
  • Motor(s) positioned outside your structure
  • Includes the essentials: lights, switches, and stainless steel baffle filters
  • Premium 304 grade stainless steel liner at 120 volts 60hz
  • Equipped with reusable stainless steel filters
  • Ideal for unique installations or specific ventilation requirements

Recirculating Systems

When your kitchen's layout plays hard to get with outside venting options.

  • Perfect solution when venting to the outside isn't in the cards
  • Equipped with specialized charcoal filters to trap cooking odors and grease
  • Limited to 390 CFM and up to 48" in width (even heroes have their boundaries)
  • Features clever louvers built into the hood for air to escape back into your kitchen
  • Ideal for apartments, condos, or older homes where structural limitations make external venting challenging
  • All the style with a practical twist for challenging spaces

How To Measure Infograph

Your Copper Hood

How To Measure

Watch our video tutorial for help selecting the proper dimensions for your copper hood. You'll need to measure the width of your cooktop and the height of your ceiling from the kitchen floor. Wall-mounted hoods can be as wide as your cooktop; however, island mounted hoods should be at least 6 inches wider than the cooktop. The bottom of the hood should be between 30-36" above your cooktop. Once the dimensions of the hood are determined, you can then select a ventilation system. We offer in-hood and in-attic ventilation systems. Once you select a ventilation system that will work for your kitchen space, you can then choose the color and texture of the copper hood. Don't forget to personalize your hood with custom straps, rivets and apron patterns.
