Why Does the Coronado Custom Range Hood Work Well in a Made-to-Order Kitchen?

If bold geometric form with customizable bands and rivets fits the direction of your kitchen, the Coronado Custom Range Hood lets you carry the look further with custom sizing, finish choices and ventilation options. You do not have to make the finish decision from a screen. Bloom offers free sample tiles, one-on-one help from a master designer, secure ordering through a U.S.-based company and free shipping within the 48 continental U.S. states.

The Coronado Custom Range Hood: Designed to Fit the Room, Not Fight It

The Coronado Custom Range Hood pairs bold geometric form with customizable bands and rivets with the practical choices a custom kitchen calls for. Start with 16-gauge copper, brass or 304 stainless steel construction, set the dimensions around the range and cabinetry, then choose the finish, accents and ventilation package for the way you cook.

  • Model-Specific Shape: The Coronado gets a look separate from Bloom’s other hood profiles through bold geometric form with customizable bands and rivets.
  • Made-to-Order Proportions: Choose width, depth and height around the range, cabinetry and ceiling conditions in your kitchen.
  • Material You Can Build Around: Choose 16-gauge copper, brass or 304 stainless steel to set the material direction for the hood.
  • Ventilation Choices: Select an exhaust setup based on your range, room layout and cooking habits.
  • Lifetime Structural Guarantee: Bloom backs the hood structure with lifetime coverage.

Dial in the Fit and Airflow for Your Custom Range Hood — For Everyday Cooking

Good looks only go so far above a busy range. The Coronado combines custom sizing with ventilation choices for everyday cooking, all built around precise TIG-welded construction. The result is a hood with the presence you want and the practical function the space needs.

  • Built for Daily Use: Heavy-gauge metal and TIG-welded construction create a solid structure.
  • Proportions You Control: Adjust width, depth and height to fit the visual scale of the room.
  • Mounting Style Choices: Coordinate the hood with the installation conditions in your kitchen.
  • Configurable Ventilation: Select airflow performance around the range and cooking routine.
  • Protective Finish Options: Available surface protection helps preserve the selected finish.

Put Some Personality into Your Custom Range Hood Finish — For Everyday Cooking

The same Coronado can read completely differently depending on the finish. A softer surface treatment keeps the profile restrained, while deeper tones or stronger texture bring more attention to the shape. Use the accent selections to tie the hood back to cabinetry, lighting and fixtures.

Cabinet color, counters, hardware and lighting all change how the Coronado finish reads. Looking at samples in the actual space can save a lot of second-guessing.

Where the Coronado Custom Range Hood Feels Right at Home

Use the Coronado as either a strong focal point or a quieter architectural element. The bold geometric form with customizable bands and rivets already gives it shape; finish tone, texture and accents determine how loudly the hood speaks in the room.

Custom sizing helps the Coronado find the right balance. Good proportions connect the hood to the cabinetry and range instead of leaving it to read like an oversized appliance in the middle of the design.

Build Your Custom Range Hood with bloom, For a Better-Fit Kitchen

Your Coronado Custom Range Hood starts with the room you already have and the look you want to create. Work directly with bloom range hoods’ master designer to sort through dimensions, finish, accents and ventilation without bouncing between layers of salespeople.

The goal for the Coronado Custom Range Hood is simple: the right fit, the right amount of personality and ventilation chosen for how you actually cook.

Ventilation Systems

Find Your Perfect Exhaust System

We believe the ventilation system behind your beautiful hood should work as hard as it looks good. Here's how to find your perfect match:

Motor Fan In-Hood Exhaust System

The culinary equivalent of having everything you need right at your fingertips.

  • Motor(s) nestled inside your copper hood
  • Complete with lights, switches, and stainless steel baffle filters
  • 304-grade stainless steel liner (the gold standard of kitchen durability)
  • Powered by 120 volts 60hz, like a well-oiled kitchen machine
  • Features reusable stainless steel baffle filters (we believe in sustainability almost as much as style)
  • Motor(s) run at approximately 7 sones - the soundtrack to your cooking adventure

Motor Fan In-Attic Exhaust System

For when you want all the power without stealing the spotlight. This method is preferred but requires accessible attic space directly above the kitchen.

  • Motor tucked discreetly in your attic, like a kitchen ninja
  • Still equipped with all the essentials: lights, switches, and stainless steel baffle filters
  • Premium 304 grade stainless steel liner at 120 volts 60hz
  • Reusable stainless steel filters for easy maintenance
  • Virtually silent operation in your kitchen - quieter than a Wisconsin lake at dawn
  • Perfect for open-concept kitchens where conversation flows as freely as your creativity

Liner Only (No Motor)

For the kitchen maestros who march to their own beat.

  • Requires purchasing a separate External Blower System
  • Motor(s) positioned outside your structure
  • Includes the essentials: lights, switches, and stainless steel baffle filters
  • Premium 304 grade stainless steel liner at 120 volts 60hz
  • Equipped with reusable stainless steel filters
  • Ideal for unique installations or specific ventilation requirements

Recirculating Systems

When your kitchen's layout plays hard to get with outside venting options.

  • Perfect solution when venting to the outside isn't in the cards
  • Equipped with specialized charcoal filters to trap cooking odors and grease
  • Limited to 390 CFM and up to 48" in width (even heroes have their boundaries)
  • Features clever louvers built into the hood for air to escape back into your kitchen
  • Ideal for apartments, condos, or older homes where structural limitations make external venting challenging
  • All the style with a practical twist for challenging spaces

How To Measure Infograph

Your Copper Hood

How To Measure

Watch our video tutorial for help selecting the proper dimensions for your copper hood. You'll need to measure the width of your cooktop and the height of your ceiling from the kitchen floor. Wall-mounted hoods can be as wide as your cooktop; however, island mounted hoods should be at least 6 inches wider than the cooktop. The bottom of the hood should be between 30-36" above your cooktop. Once the dimensions of the hood are determined, you can then select a ventilation system. We offer in-hood and in-attic ventilation systems. Once you select a ventilation system that will work for your kitchen space, you can then choose the color and texture of the copper hood. Don't forget to personalize your hood with custom straps, rivets and apron patterns.
