How Does the Charlotte Custom Range Hood Balance Design and Ventilation?

With soft curves paired with a square crown, the Charlotte Custom Range Hood offers a more personal alternative to pulling a standard hood off the shelf. Order free sample tiles to compare finishes in your own lighting, then work one-on-one with bloom range hoods’ master designer on the final direction. Bloom also offers a secure ordering process with a U.S.-based company and free shipping to the 48 continental U.S. states.

The Charlotte Custom Range Hood: Strong Form, Flexible Customization

Built around soft curves paired with a square crown, the Charlotte Custom Range Hood gives you a recognizable silhouette before you make a single finish choice. 16-gauge copper, brass or 304 stainless steel construction provides the structure, while custom proportions, accents and exhaust options let the hood fit your kitchen instead of the other way around.

  • Model-Specific Shape: The Charlotte gets a look separate from Bloom’s other hood profiles through soft curves paired with a square crown.
  • Made-to-Order Proportions: Choose width, depth and height around the range, cabinetry and ceiling conditions in your kitchen.
  • Material You Can Build Around: Choose 16-gauge copper, brass or 304 stainless steel to set the material direction for the hood.
  • Ventilation Choices: Select an exhaust setup based on your range, room layout and cooking habits.
  • Lifetime Structural Guarantee: Bloom backs the hood structure with lifetime coverage.

Charlotte Custom Range Hood Fit and Ventilation, Your Way

The right dimensions help a range hood feel like part of the kitchen instead of an add-on. The Charlotte can be configured for width, depth, height and mounting style, with ventilation selected around the range. Clean TIG welds bring the structure together with a polished finished look.

  • Built for Daily Use: Heavy-gauge metal and TIG-welded construction create a solid structure.
  • Proportions You Control: Adjust width, depth and height to fit the visual scale of the room.
  • Mounting Style Choices: Coordinate the hood with the installation conditions in your kitchen.
  • Configurable Ventilation: Select airflow performance around the range and cooking routine.
  • Protective Finish Options: Available surface protection helps preserve the selected finish.

From Subtle to Bold: Custom Range Hood Finish Options

Finish choices can push the Charlotte in very different directions. Keep the surface smooth and quiet, or add more texture when you want the hood to carry extra visual weight. Accent details can coordinate with nearby hardware or create contrast against the main body.

Small accent decisions matter on a focal point like the Charlotte. A little contrast can sharpen the shape, while a more unified finish keeps the look calmer.

Where the Charlotte Custom Range Hood Feels Right at Home

Kitchen style often comes down to how the details are handled. On the Charlotte, soft curves paired with a square crown provides the base. Warmer finishes can lean classic, while simple accents and a tighter palette can move the same profile in a more modern direction.

Custom dimensions give the Charlotte another design lever. Taller, wider or more compact proportions can change the visual weight before the finish even enters the conversation.

Put Your Stamp on a Custom Range Hood with bloom, For Everyday Cooking

Your Charlotte Custom Range Hood starts with the room you already have and the look you want to create. Work directly with bloom range hoods’ master designer to sort through dimensions, finish, accents and ventilation without bouncing between layers of salespeople.

The goal for the Charlotte Custom Range Hood is simple: the right fit, the right amount of personality and ventilation chosen for how you actually cook.

Ventilation Systems

Find Your Perfect Exhaust System

We believe the ventilation system behind your beautiful hood should work as hard as it looks good. Here's how to find your perfect match:

Motor Fan In-Hood Exhaust System

The culinary equivalent of having everything you need right at your fingertips.

  • Motor(s) nestled inside your copper hood
  • Complete with lights, switches, and stainless steel baffle filters
  • 304-grade stainless steel liner (the gold standard of kitchen durability)
  • Powered by 120 volts 60hz, like a well-oiled kitchen machine
  • Features reusable stainless steel baffle filters (we believe in sustainability almost as much as style)
  • Motor(s) run at approximately 7 sones - the soundtrack to your cooking adventure

Motor Fan In-Attic Exhaust System

For when you want all the power without stealing the spotlight. This method is preferred but requires accessible attic space directly above the kitchen.

  • Motor tucked discreetly in your attic, like a kitchen ninja
  • Still equipped with all the essentials: lights, switches, and stainless steel baffle filters
  • Premium 304 grade stainless steel liner at 120 volts 60hz
  • Reusable stainless steel filters for easy maintenance
  • Virtually silent operation in your kitchen - quieter than a Wisconsin lake at dawn
  • Perfect for open-concept kitchens where conversation flows as freely as your creativity

Liner Only (No Motor)

For the kitchen maestros who march to their own beat.

  • Requires purchasing a separate External Blower System
  • Motor(s) positioned outside your structure
  • Includes the essentials: lights, switches, and stainless steel baffle filters
  • Premium 304 grade stainless steel liner at 120 volts 60hz
  • Equipped with reusable stainless steel filters
  • Ideal for unique installations or specific ventilation requirements

Recirculating Systems

When your kitchen's layout plays hard to get with outside venting options.

  • Perfect solution when venting to the outside isn't in the cards
  • Equipped with specialized charcoal filters to trap cooking odors and grease
  • Limited to 390 CFM and up to 48" in width (even heroes have their boundaries)
  • Features clever louvers built into the hood for air to escape back into your kitchen
  • Ideal for apartments, condos, or older homes where structural limitations make external venting challenging
  • All the style with a practical twist for challenging spaces

How To Measure Infograph

Your Copper Hood

How To Measure

Watch our video tutorial for help selecting the proper dimensions for your copper hood. You'll need to measure the width of your cooktop and the height of your ceiling from the kitchen floor. Wall-mounted hoods can be as wide as your cooktop; however, island mounted hoods should be at least 6 inches wider than the cooktop. The bottom of the hood should be between 30-36" above your cooktop. Once the dimensions of the hood are determined, you can then select a ventilation system. We offer in-hood and in-attic ventilation systems. Once you select a ventilation system that will work for your kitchen space, you can then choose the color and texture of the copper hood. Don't forget to personalize your hood with custom straps, rivets and apron patterns.
