Is the Baltimore Stainless Steel Range Hood Right for Your Kitchen?

The Baltimore Stainless Steel Range Hood is built for homeowners who want bold structured lines with an American industrial influence without giving up control over fit, finish or ventilation. The buying process stays personal too: free sample tiles for finish decisions, direct access to bloom range hoods’ master designer, secure online ordering with a U.S.-based company and free shipping to the 48 continental U.S. states.

The Baltimore Stainless Steel Range Hood: A Made-to-Order Take on Bold Structured Lines with an American Industrial Influence

At first glance, the Baltimore Stainless Steel Range Hood is all about bold structured lines with an American industrial influence. Look closer and the practical side matters just as much: 16-gauge 304 stainless steel construction, made-to-order dimensions and configurable ventilation turn the design into a working part of the kitchen.

  • A Profile with Personality: The Baltimore gets its visual character from bold structured lines with an American industrial influence, not from a generic stock shell.
  • Sized for the Space: Adjust the key dimensions so the hood relates cleanly to the range and surrounding cabinetry.
  • Built from Substantial Metal: 16-gauge 304 stainless steel gives the hood a durable body with a crisp, clean metal look.
  • Airflow for the Way You Cook: Pair the hood with a ventilation option suited to your cooking setup.
  • Long-Term Structural Coverage: Every hood includes bloom range hoods’ lifetime structural guarantee.

Get the Fit Right with Custom Stainless Steel Range Hood Sizing, For a Better-Fit Kitchen

A custom hood should look intentional from every angle. Bloom sizes the Baltimore around the range, cabinetry and ceiling conditions, then matches the ventilation options to your cooking setup. Precision TIG-welded construction keeps the body strong and the seams clean without adding visual clutter.

  • Clean Welded Structure: TIG welding brings strength to the body without bulky seams.
  • Room-Specific Sizing: Build the hood around the actual space above your range.
  • Installation Flexibility: Select the appropriate mounting configuration for the design.
  • Cooking-Focused Airflow: Choose ventilation with everyday cooking needs in mind.
  • Easy-Care Surface Options: Protective finish choices help keep maintenance straightforward.

Make the Baltimore Stainless Steel Hood Stand Out with Custom Finishes

You can keep the Baltimore simple or give the metal more to say. Surface texture, finish tone and accent choices all change how the profile reads in the room. Sample tiles make it easier to judge those combinations in your own lighting.

Small accent decisions matter on a focal point like the Baltimore. A little contrast can sharpen the shape, while a more unified finish keeps the look calmer.

Stainless Steel Range Hood Design Ideas for Kitchens with Personality, For a Better-Fit Kitchen

Use the Baltimore as either a strong focal point or a quieter architectural element. The bold structured lines with an American industrial influence already gives it shape; finish tone, texture and accents determine how loudly the hood speaks in the room.

Custom sizing helps the Baltimore find the right balance. Good proportions connect the hood to the cabinetry and range instead of leaving it to read like an oversized appliance in the middle of the design.

Put Your Stamp on a Custom Range Hood with bloom, With a Little More Personality

The best version of the Baltimore Stainless Steel Range Hood is the one built for your kitchen. Work one-on-one with bloom range hoods’ master designer to refine the proportions, finish package and performance choices before the hood moves forward.

A custom kitchen deserves more than a close-enough hood. Build the Baltimore Stainless Steel Range Hood around the space and give the cooking wall a focal point with a reason to be there.

Ventilation Systems

Find Your Perfect Exhaust System

We believe the ventilation system behind your beautiful hood should work as hard as it looks good. Here's how to find your perfect match:

Motor Fan In-Hood Exhaust System

The culinary equivalent of having everything you need right at your fingertips.

  • Motor(s) nestled inside your copper hood
  • Complete with lights, switches, and stainless steel baffle filters
  • 304-grade stainless steel liner (the gold standard of kitchen durability)
  • Powered by 120 volts 60hz, like a well-oiled kitchen machine
  • Features reusable stainless steel baffle filters (we believe in sustainability almost as much as style)
  • Motor(s) run at approximately 7 sones - the soundtrack to your cooking adventure

Motor Fan In-Attic Exhaust System

For when you want all the power without stealing the spotlight. This method is preferred but requires accessible attic space directly above the kitchen.

  • Motor tucked discreetly in your attic, like a kitchen ninja
  • Still equipped with all the essentials: lights, switches, and stainless steel baffle filters
  • Premium 304 grade stainless steel liner at 120 volts 60hz
  • Reusable stainless steel filters for easy maintenance
  • Virtually silent operation in your kitchen - quieter than a Wisconsin lake at dawn
  • Perfect for open-concept kitchens where conversation flows as freely as your creativity

Liner Only (No Motor)

For the kitchen maestros who march to their own beat.

  • Requires purchasing a separate External Blower System
  • Motor(s) positioned outside your structure
  • Includes the essentials: lights, switches, and stainless steel baffle filters
  • Premium 304 grade stainless steel liner at 120 volts 60hz
  • Equipped with reusable stainless steel filters
  • Ideal for unique installations or specific ventilation requirements

Recirculating Systems

When your kitchen's layout plays hard to get with outside venting options.

  • Perfect solution when venting to the outside isn't in the cards
  • Equipped with specialized charcoal filters to trap cooking odors and grease
  • Limited to 390 CFM and up to 48" in width (even heroes have their boundaries)
  • Features clever louvers built into the hood for air to escape back into your kitchen
  • Ideal for apartments, condos, or older homes where structural limitations make external venting challenging
  • All the style with a practical twist for challenging spaces

How To Measure Infograph

Your Copper Hood

How To Measure

Watch our video tutorial for help selecting the proper dimensions for your copper hood. You'll need to measure the width of your cooktop and the height of your ceiling from the kitchen floor. Wall-mounted hoods can be as wide as your cooktop; however, island mounted hoods should be at least 6 inches wider than the cooktop. The bottom of the hood should be between 30-36" above your cooktop. Once the dimensions of the hood are determined, you can then select a ventilation system. We offer in-hood and in-attic ventilation systems. Once you select a ventilation system that will work for your kitchen space, you can then choose the color and texture of the copper hood. Don't forget to personalize your hood with custom straps, rivets and apron patterns.
