Is the Austin Custom Range Hood Right for Your Kitchen?

If large-scale cove crown, sleek neck and wide body fits the direction of your kitchen, the Austin Custom Range Hood lets you carry the look further with custom sizing, finish choices and ventilation options. Start with free sample tiles, then refine dimensions, finishes and details directly with bloom range hoods’ master designer. the confidence of ordering securely from a U.S.-based company and free shipping to the 48 continental U.S. states keep the rest of the process simple.

The Austin Custom Range Hood: Model-Specific Style with Made-to-Order Details

The Austin Custom Range Hood gets its personality from large-scale cove crown, sleek neck and wide body. Under the surface, 16-gauge copper, brass or 304 stainless steel construction brings the strength needed above a working range. Size the hood around your layout, choose the finish and decorative details, then pair it with ventilation suited to your cooking setup.

  • A Profile with Personality: The Austin gets its visual character from large-scale cove crown, sleek neck and wide body, not from a generic stock shell.
  • Sized for the Space: Adjust the key dimensions so the hood relates cleanly to the range and surrounding cabinetry.
  • Built from Substantial Metal: Choose 16-gauge copper, brass or 304 stainless steel to set the material direction for the hood.
  • Airflow for the Way You Cook: Pair the hood with a ventilation option suited to your cooking setup.
  • Long-Term Structural Coverage: Every hood includes bloom range hoods’ lifetime structural guarantee.

Dial in the Fit and Airflow for Your Custom Range Hood, For a Kitchen Built Your Way

The right dimensions help a range hood feel like part of the kitchen instead of an add-on. The Austin can be configured for width, depth, height and mounting style, with ventilation selected around the range. Clean TIG welds bring the structure together with a polished finished look.

  • Built for Daily Use: Heavy-gauge metal and TIG-welded construction create a solid structure.
  • Proportions You Control: Adjust width, depth and height to fit the visual scale of the room.
  • Mounting Style Choices: Coordinate the hood with the installation conditions in your kitchen.
  • Configurable Ventilation: Select airflow performance around the range and cooking routine.
  • Protective Finish Options: Available surface protection helps preserve the selected finish.

Custom Range Hood Colors, Textures and Details to Play With, With Style to Spare

You can keep the Austin simple or give the metal more to say. Surface texture, finish tone and accent choices all change how the profile reads in the room. Sample tiles make it easier to judge those combinations in your own lighting.

Small accent decisions matter on a focal point like the Austin. A little contrast can sharpen the shape, while a more unified finish keeps the look calmer.

Custom Range Hood Design Ideas for Kitchens with Personality

Because the design centers on large-scale cove crown, sleek neck and wide body, the Austin can take on a different mood depending on the materials around it. Pair it with warmer finishes and more decorative details for a traditional direction, or simplify the accents for a cleaner transitional look.

The finish gets attention, but proportion is what makes the hood belong. Made-to-order sizing lets the Austin relate to the room instead of forcing the room to accommodate a preset shell.

Start Your Austin Custom Range Hood with One-On-One Design Help

There are plenty of choices in a custom hood, but you do not have to sort through them alone. Bloom’s master designer works with you one-on-one on the Austin Custom Range Hood, from proportions and finish direction to decorative details and ventilation.

A custom kitchen deserves more than a close-enough hood. Build the Austin Custom Range Hood around the space and give the cooking wall a focal point with a reason to be there.

Ventilation Systems

Find Your Perfect Exhaust System

We believe the ventilation system behind your beautiful hood should work as hard as it looks good. Here's how to find your perfect match:

Motor Fan In-Hood Exhaust System

The culinary equivalent of having everything you need right at your fingertips.

  • Motor(s) nestled inside your copper hood
  • Complete with lights, switches, and stainless steel baffle filters
  • 304-grade stainless steel liner (the gold standard of kitchen durability)
  • Powered by 120 volts 60hz, like a well-oiled kitchen machine
  • Features reusable stainless steel baffle filters (we believe in sustainability almost as much as style)
  • Motor(s) run at approximately 7 sones - the soundtrack to your cooking adventure

Motor Fan In-Attic Exhaust System

For when you want all the power without stealing the spotlight. This method is preferred but requires accessible attic space directly above the kitchen.

  • Motor tucked discreetly in your attic, like a kitchen ninja
  • Still equipped with all the essentials: lights, switches, and stainless steel baffle filters
  • Premium 304 grade stainless steel liner at 120 volts 60hz
  • Reusable stainless steel filters for easy maintenance
  • Virtually silent operation in your kitchen - quieter than a Wisconsin lake at dawn
  • Perfect for open-concept kitchens where conversation flows as freely as your creativity

Liner Only (No Motor)

For the kitchen maestros who march to their own beat.

  • Requires purchasing a separate External Blower System
  • Motor(s) positioned outside your structure
  • Includes the essentials: lights, switches, and stainless steel baffle filters
  • Premium 304 grade stainless steel liner at 120 volts 60hz
  • Equipped with reusable stainless steel filters

When your kitchen's layout plays hard to get with outside venting options.

  • Perfect solution when venting to the outside isn't in the cards
  • Equipped with specialized charcoal filters to trap cooking odors and grease
  • Limited to 390 CFM and up to 48" in width (even heroes have their boundaries)
  • Features clever louvers built into the hood for air to escape back into your kitchen

  • All the style with a practical twist for challenging spaces

How To Measure Infograph

Your Copper Hood

How To Measure

Watch our video tutorial for help selecting the proper dimensions for your copper hood. You'll need to measure the width of your cooktop and the height of your ceiling from the kitchen floor. Wall-mounted hoods can be as wide as your cooktop; however, island mounted hoods should be at least 6 inches wider than the cooktop. The bottom of the hood should be between 30-36" above your cooktop. Once the dimensions of the hood are determined, you can then select a ventilation system. We offer in-hood and in-attic ventilation systems. Once you select a ventilation system that will work for your kitchen space, you can then choose the color and texture of the copper hood. Don't forget to personalize your hood with custom straps, rivets and apron patterns.
